So what’s a Paddleboard?
Stand up Paddleboarding is very simple and a lot of fun.
It all started way back in the 60’s with the beach boys and possible further still to the early Polynesians. More recently though paddleboarding has been used as a great way to gain extra fitness and then more waves!
Looking very similar to a long board the paddleboard can be used to gain great core fitness, balance and cardiovascular endurance. What could be more fun than exercising on the water! Then once flat water has been mastered, you can take to the surf!
So with a few hints and tips from the Elements staff on the basics of paddling, standing (or kneeling!) you could be on your way to a new fitness routine or just trying something new this winter.
